A message from Chu

In preperation for tonights service as Tadley Spiritual Awareness Centre, I have asked my Spirit Team write tonights reading and this is what came back:

“…Man for a long time has campaigned for peace, harmony and the infiltration of love for all mankind and yet the obstacles that limit his desires are very often implemented by the same mind that has sent out the request for a better existence.  Man stunts his own spiritual growth with his own refusal to accept that he has a greater purpose than the mundane.  For within the mundane there is found a willingness for change and a lesson to be learnt – facts that allow mans progression spiritually to be founded.  Yet within these two statements lies the greatest of resistance.

We find it inconceivable that man has a great desire for change but is unable to grasp change when it is presented to him.  It is as if the trust that forms the basis of our unseen relationship is removed from ones thoughts – alleviating man of that immediate free will and therefore responsibility to make a difference in his physical existence.  Yet this change could penetrate his very core and improve the lives of those that he comes into contact with.  If only he reaches out to grasp those hands of those that wait to guide him.

It is not an act of faith to lay ones trust in the unseen and the unheard.  This reliance in what can be seen, heard and felt will be the stumbling block for us all.  Forget that which has been buried deep in your consciousness and listen to that mind and those thoughts from within.  Think not of our bond in the form of physical matter but as a bond of the inevitable tie that is love.  You do not need to see, feel or hear love to know its existence or to benefit from its essence.  Yet, you know it is there – cementing your very core with those that walk your journey with you.

So we come to learn that the unseen and the unheard is of mere consequence to our spiritual bond and yet in time you will come to feel that very presence you seek.  We simply ask that your consciousness is permitted to expand and reach out to the greater challenge that waits beyond your line of vision.  We ask that you accept your place in this mortal playground and come to enjoy the lessons that we have worked with you to create.

Our bond is a partnership that will forge ahead regardless of your knowledge and experience.  As you come to learn to understand your purpose, as we will learn too, your reliance on that which has been before will weaken and allow those restraints of the mundane to fall away.  To trust in our being is to trust one’s self and to trust in one’s self is to give rise to the necessities and hope to all possibilities and bring the changes that you seek…”

Hi All!

Thought I’d better put an update on my website as I have ignored it for a little while!

Well Blenham is doing fine.  He had a fall last week which meant we had to carry him up and down stairs (why did we get a 4 story house?) but he seems to be back to normal(ish) – well he’s weeing everywhere and demanding treats!  I would like to thank everyone who has sent him healing and thank you for the kind messages wishing him well.  If only I got nice emails like that! lol

Reading Spiritualist Association is doing well.  Almost open for a year now and despite the huge hall hire costs we seem to be breaking even.  Still trying to sort out the good friday rallys though!

Not a lot else to report really!  Still planning Haunted Holidays and still working long days in London!  Has my drinking and smoking decreased?  Don’t be silly!  lol

Just back from serving Tadley Spiritual Awareness Centre and even though I’m feeling very much under the weather the congregation enjoyed the service.  I can only be me!  Life before death! lol

Blue Skies and Summer Sunshine

Apr 22, 2010 Author: admin | Filed under: General Post

Doesn’t this hot weather make you feel at one with the world?  Well ok if you’ve been stranded abroad following the Volcanic Ash then you have my sympathies!  Sitting here sweltering in the early evening heat, craving a bear (or wine – or both!) I’m thinking how luck we all are.  After the trials of having a sick doggy, I am thankful that that Blenham is still with us and whilst I know we’ll never have the Blenham he once was, he’s still my little boy!

So we have elections coming and with anothe debate tonight, it makes you wonder about what you’d vote on in life if you had the choice?  I mean, so many organised religions and even spiritual organisations will tell you how your life should be carried out – do they really have the monopoly on our earthly existences?  I say no – only we can make those decision and no one has the monopoly on our path ways.  we have to live by own mistakes and choose whether to learn by them or not.

That reminds me of a conversation I had recently about feeling the need of conforming to other peoples views on Spiritualism.  Why should we?  We are all individuals and have to be true to ourselves.  Just because someone tells you that the sky is blue doesn’t make it blue – to one person it might be turquoise or black if its night time or red if its a glorious sunset!

I don’t know where all that came from as I only logged onto update my blog and let you know that I’m still in the physical world!

I do want to plug my travel agency though – if you’re looking for a travel agency in reading or looking for a holiday, then please visit my website by clicking here.  Plug over!

    Good Morning All

Well time sems to fly when you’re having fun doesn’t it?  I know its a cop out phrase but its the only excuse I seem to be able to muster as to why I haven’t blogged for a little while!

Blenham is still.  Having had the MRI scand and having been diagnosed with syringomyelia, we know it’s not going to be an easy ride for us.  I say us as Blenham seems to just get on with it!  He can’t blink, has little balance and he is still paralysed on both side of his face but he just carries on – I admire him for that.  You know, Geri Halliwell spoke to me the other night (as she did to many people through the mediumm of television) and said “Happiness is loving someone else more than you love yourself” which must mean I’m extremely happy – but I’m not.  I feel pain because of the helplessness of the situation.  I’m slowly coming to acceptance but its not easy.  Thank you for all of the healng thoughts that you have sent to Blenham, I’m really sure its working  but don’t stop!

So what else is new?  Well Haunted Holidays is about to launch.  We’ve identified a number of properties to feature and are just tying up contracts etc – watch this space as they say!

    Afternoon All

Just noticed that i haven’t blogged for a while so thought I’d better say something!  Unusually, its hard for me to think of things to say – gasp I hear you cry!  Jamie with nothing to say?  That’s got to be a first!

Well the Reading Spiritualist Association seems to working well.  It’s now getting congregations/audiences of up to 50 people on a Wednesday evening which is great.  This finally means that we are starting to break even on a Wednesday.  Hooray!  We are even starting a development circle after the demonstration due to popular demand – I’ll let you know how it goes.

I have to say thank you to all those kind people out there that put my little dog Blenham on their healing lists – we’re starting to see the cheekiness come back now!  he’s still not completely better but as least we can see light at the end of the tunnel!

    Healing thoughts for Blenham

Mar 11, 2010 Author: admin | Filed under: General Post

I would just like to thank everyone for their prayers and healing thoughts for my little King Charles Cavalier, Blenham.  He is doing well following his ‘fit’ and whilst he is still paralysed on the left side of his face, his hearing has returned and is eating again!  He forgets that he’s still ill and loses balance easily but it’s a joy to see him wag his tail and bark at the postman!

    Happy New Year!

I haven’t posted for a little while which naughty but let me finally wish you all a Happy New Year!

So what news have I got for you?  Well from the material aspect of my life, I am opening up a small Independent Travel Agency and Tour Operator and I am toying with the idea of “Haunted Holidays” – package holidays with a difference!  Still an idea at the moment but may hook up with a Paranormal Investigation Company to pursue it!  We’ll keep you posted!

Don’t forget to check out this weeks Pick Me Up Magazine (Out 14th January) which features me as the Psychic Drag Queen!

    Sad News

Dec 21, 2009 Author: admin | Filed under: General Post

Well I’m very upset today – my mums Shih Tzu puppy, Carly, went missing on Thursday and despite the bad weatehr was spotted around the area over the weekend.  Unfortunately my mums phoned me today to say that her body was found.  Since she was missing, I’ve sent up plea after plea for her safe return and nothing has come back from the spirit world.  Not a glimmer of hope or word as to where to find her.  If I’m honest, its caused me to now have a crisis in faith.

    Serving Reading SNU Church Tonight

Dec 3, 2009 Author: admin | Filed under: General Post

Well I’m serving Reading SNU Church tonight – a church I obviously have a lot of time for.  You’re not really supposed to have favourites but as I trained there and was the Vice President there for a short period, it’s a church that I hold dear to my heart!  It’s also I church I get extremely nervous about serving as it attracts a very large congregation for its Thursday demonstrations!

I am supposed to be serving the church with Tricia Weaver but she is not very well so I hope you make a speedy recovery Tricia!
